The Comdasys FMC Solution is a Client-Server solution. The client gives you a simple and intuitive GUI that hides all the complexities from the user. Simply make a call and use whatever features the client offers you. The Client will take care of selecting the best available baseband, the cheapest available cellular route while offering you access to your PBX features. The MC Client for Symbian also offers an integrated user interface for all your communication needs, Telephony, Instant Messaging and Presence.

The dual mode capable client enables you to make phone calls both through WIFI as well as through the cellular network. It supports dynamic mid-call handovers between the basebands, enables Instant Messaging and Presence and provides access to the PBX features through both cellular and WIFI.

The Comdasys Mobile Convergence Client for Symbian works on both Symbian 3rd Edition and Symbian 5th Edition devices. 3rd Edition devices are available from Nokia, Samsung, and LG. The most popular ones are the Nokia E Series line of business devices such as the E51, E52, E66, E71, E72 to name just a few. The 5th Edition devices are the new Symbian touch devices available from Nokia, Samsung and SonyEricsson.
