The Convergence 1600 is a very powerful, real-time communication and VoIP enabled VPN firewall appliance for branch office connectivity scenarios with up to 50 users. The Convergence 1600 enables Enterprises or Service Providers to connect branch offices to central data centers or to hosted service offerings. This enables companies to accomplish a branch consolidation of their IT infrastructure while assuring the quality of service, security and feature transparency of their communication infrastructure.

The Convergence 1600 is a fully RFC 3261 compliant SIP Proxy - Registrar as well as B2BUA. As such, it can act as a Branch Session Border Controller thus solving the SIP NAT problem in Enterprise or Hosted VoIP settings. At the same time it can be used for implementing QoS and VoIP survivability in branch offices.

The Convergence 1600 offers Enterprise Class functionality and can be used in branch offices, or as an All-in-one communication solution by Small / Medium companies. In addition to that, the product line compatibility among the Comdasys Convergence products enables you to easily upgrade without having to redo any configuration.
