connectivity, today announced that it Convergence systems now support the ENUM or “Electronic
Numbering” feature, a technology that bridges the PSTN and the Internet. ENUM numbers are used to
identify ordinary phones, fax machines, pagers, data modems, email clients, text terminals for the hearing
impaired, etc. With the Comdasys systems enterprises can now ENUM enable not only IP-PBX and IP
enabled PBX but also legacy PBX systems and thus use an additional productivity tool.
