Comdasys AG, a leader in standard based intelligent and secure branch office and remote locations connectivity as well as in Fix to Mobile Convergence solutions and Telefunken-ID, an emerging leader in mobile handset devices for enterprise applications, today announced that they will cooperate to promote, market, integrate and support a joint solution for providing Fix to Mobile Convergence solution for small and medium size enterprises.

The cooperation focuses on bringing to the market solutions that combine the portability and ease-of-use of mobile dual mode devices marketed by Telefunken with the Comdasys FMC offering. Comdasys FMC Servers provide to enterprise users the ability to have Dual mode (WLAN and Cellular) telephony functionality, a Single Office Number even for the mobile device, seamless handover between WLAN and Cellular networks as well as access to the features and applications of the enterprise based IP-PBX.
