Systemhaus HTC to distribute Comdasys’ full range of Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) and Convergence products in Germany

Comdasys, the trusted leading provider of enterprise class Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) and branch office connectivity solutions, today announced that it has expanded its coverage of the German market with the signing of a reseller deal with Systemhaus HTC Kommunikationssysteme.

This deal is an important milestone of Comdasys’ channel strategy to significantly extend its coverage through the recruitment of leading channel partners. Systemhaus HTC will provide solutions to its customer by using Comdasys’ leading Fixed to Mobile Convergence as well as Comdasys Convergence branch office connectivity solutions.

By supplying Comdasys’ complete portfolio of enterprise IP telephony solutions -- including Comdasys FMC and Comdasys Convergence – Systemshaus HTC is intent on offering its customers the ability to deploy enterprise grade converged communication services across Internet Protocol (IP) networks as well as across GSM, WiFi and IP Networks.

The Comdasys FMC Solutions consists of the Comdasys FMC Server and of the FMC Client. Together they provide the user with all the advantages of FMC solutions like extending telephony features of PBXs and Softswitches to the dual-mode device, providing lowest cost routing, assuring seamless call handover from GSM/CDMA/UMTS to WiFi networks, permitting one number and one voice mailbox solutions and more. The Comdasys FMC Server is an all-in-one network appliance and includes a Multiservice Router, a Session Border Controller with security enhancements, QoS and FMC voice applications. The FMC Server is deployed at the central site of an enterprise or a service provider and is located on the wired network between the WLAN and the SIP switch. The Comdasys FMC Server controls the mobile user sessions regardless of whether they are on the enterprise, home, hotspots or cellular network. The FMC Client is a software module that is integrated into dual-mode devices and works with the Comdasys FMC Server to provide users access to all available FMC features and services.

In Enterprise networks, Comdasys Convergence systems are the foundation for securely providing the most sophisticated and critical applications to branch offices in scenarios such as branch office connectivity with survivability, multi-service business network appliance with local breakout, hosted applications deployment and enterprise-grade SIP trunk termination. The Convergence systems allow enterprises to provide the same level of services in the branch offices as in the corporate headquarters.

Based on one common software platform, the Comdasys Convergence systems are all-in-one fully RFC 3261 compliant SIP Proxy-Registrar as well as B2BUA based network appliances that include a Multi-Service Router, a Firewall with NAT traversal support, a Session Border Controller with voice security enhancements as we as applications for Office Survivability, Call Admission Control and QoS. The Comdasys Convergence with local break-out provide analog (FXS, FXO) and digital (BRI, PRI) gateway functionalities.
