Comdasys releases purpose-built Convergence Systems for Enterprise SIP Trunking Applications
Comdasys Convergence systems enable the deployment of secure and reliable SIP Trunking for Enterprises over secure as well as non-secure networks
Munich, April 16, 2007
Comdasys AG, a leader in standard based reliable and secure office and remote locations connectivity as well as in Fix to Mobile Convergence solutions, today announced the launch its Convergence product line for enterprise grade SIP Trunk deployments. The Comdasys Convergence line of products has been designed for securing the network edge for Enterprise VoIP and other real-time services. The Convergence systems can terminate SIP (UDP, TCP, TLS) as well as RTP and SRTP connections and thus act as a Session Border Controller in SIP Trunking scenarios. Besides protecting the IP PBX and the internal network, this enables failover scenarios to keep your SIP Trunk running.

The Comdasys Convergence line of products have been designed to meet the challenges enterprises face at the edge of their converged networks where reliability, performance, and scalability are key. “Our Convergence line of products gives enterprises the tools they need to implement SIP Trunking deployments quickly and securely”, said M. Martin Bitzinger, CTO of Comdasys.

The Comdasys Convergence systems allow to leverage the technologies of IP Networks by allowing secure and reliable SIP Trunking connectivity. SIP trunks eliminate the need for low density gateways and expensive PSTN services in business and enterprise settings thus reducing cost and especially the complexity of multi-office connectivity.

“There are many good reasons for Enterprises and for SMB to deploy the Comdasys Convergence line of products to connect their IP-PBXs to SIP trunks and VoIP Service Providers. Quick and easy deployment, security, scalability, reliability, reduction in operational expenses, and excellence in support by Comdasys are among the most important ones”, added Marco Genoni from Stratatech Group.
