The cooperation between Comdasys and Mediatrix focuses on bringing to the market a multiservice branch-in-a-box device for small to mediums size branch offices. The combination of the Mediatrix 3000 platform with Comdasys’ robust, flexible and secure Convergence applications allows systems integrators to provide a single communications device for both enterprise branch office connectivity as well as hosted application scenarios thus achieving cost savings, reduced management complexity and increased reliability.
The newly released product comes with features such a Session Border Controller, VoIP survivability, advanced Call Admission Control, firewall, routing as well as analog and digital voice gateway functionality. The Comdasys-Mediatrix Convergence appliance can be deployed to connect small branch offices to large enterprise IP-PBX where security, call admission control and survivability are essential requirements.
“Our new product simplifies the deployment of Hosted Services since it has been designed for easy integration, management and support. We provide a solution for consolidating branch equipment that meets the requirements even of the most demanding enterprises”, said Martin Bitzinger, CTO of Comdasys. “Our cooperation with Mediatrix has been run smooth and successful” he added.
